Like last year also these year I post here the pictures of Srikhanda thakur. Here you see various pictures of pratima which we khanda basi praying last year since January, 2011. In the month of January it is time for Saraswati puja. The picture see you here is the Pratima of Srikhanda Janashastha samity. As I absent in the month of August in srikhnada, I didn’t have the picture of Maa Manasa Pratima’s picture. After that you see the picture of Durga Pratima of Srikhanda Mitram. After you see the Kali Pratima of Srikhanda Bamunpara. At last picture you see the Picture of Annapurna Puja during Nabanna of Srikhanda Dakhin para.

Srikhanda Baradanga mela 2011

Today is the second day of baradanga mela( Gour Naraharir Milan Mahotsab 1418 bangabda). today I post some various pictures of this village fair. where you see various items shops. You also see the first aid camp organized by Srikhanda Janashastha Samity. there are also a camp which was organized by Srikhnda Gram Pamchayat.In a photo you also see our former headmaster of Srikhanda High School and current president of Srikhanda Madhumati samity, Sir Prakashananda Thakur. Today is the first day of baradanga fair 1418 of Srikhanda.Today Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu going to Baradanga temple in a holy religious procession by khandabasi.Today is the tithi when Sri Narahari Sarkar became invisible to the gross material eyes of the world.  As many of you know, Narahari Thakur had a special mood towards Gauranga Mahaprabhu. About 449 years ago this holy festival was  laid by by Shree Shree Raghunandan Thakur and Shree Shree Nibas Acharya Prabhu  and in the active presence of  Shree Shree Nityanandya Prabhu.Today is the tirobhav tithi.Today this holy festival was organized by Srikhanda Madhumati samity .Here are some Pictures
