Janmashtami at Srikhanda Thakur bari 2013

Janmashtami is the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna and is celebrated all over India on the ashtami of Krishna Paksh in Bhadon.Krishna Janmashtami is observed on the Ashtami tithi, the eighth day of the dark half or Krishna Paksha of the month of Shraavana in the Hindu calendar.people celebrate it with fasting and doing puja at midnight. Srikhanda thakur 2011

Like last year also these year I post here the pictures of Srikhanda thakur. Here you see various pictures of pratima which we khanda basi praying last year since January, 2011. In the month of January it is time for Saraswati puja. The picture see you here is the Pratima of Srikhanda Janashastha samity. As I absent in the month of August in srikhnada, I didn’t have the picture of Maa Manasa Pratima’s picture. After that you see the picture of Durga Pratima of Srikhanda Mitram.
