Manasa  is a Hindu folk goddess of snakes, worshipped mainly in Bengal and other parts of northeastern India, chiefly for the prevention and cure of snakebite and also for fertility and prosperity.She is also known as Vishahara (the destroyer of poison).see Wikipedia page about Manasa Devi for details.
There are some pictures of our Bhairavnath Thakur along with Maa Manasa the goddess of Snake.This Puja hosted at Srikhanda in the middle of Hari Para, Danga Para, Dakhin Ghosh Para and Gali Para.This place also known as Bhairavnath Tala.Manasa is ceremonially worshipped on Nag Panchami - a festival of snake worship in the Hindu month of Shravan (July–August).This Puja held on the last day of Sravana Month( 32 se Sravan and 17th August).

মা মনসা (বামদিকে) ও বাবা ভৈরবনাথ (ডানদিকে) ।প্রতি বছর শ্রাবণ মাসের শেষদিনে এই পুজো অনুস্থিত হয়। রাত্রি প্রায় ১০.৩০ মিনিটে শুরু হয়ে প্রায় ভোররাত পর্যন্ত পুজো চলে। মধ্যরাত্রির পর এখানে বলিদান আরম্ভ হয়। প্রতি বছর প্রায় ১০০ ছাগ ও প্রায় ২০০ হাঁস বলি হয়। এই উপলক্ষে প্রচুর মানুষের সমাগম হয়। গ্রাম এর সব মানুষ উৎসব এ মেতে উঠেন। দুর্গাপুজার মতো গ্রামের মানুষ সমস্ত ঠাকুর দেখতে বের হন।

jhulan yatra is the celebration on the Radha-Krishna swing festival.over this period in the auspicious sacred month of Shravana (July-Aug) this festival was used to organized.According to our Bengali culture these day also called jhulan purnima.In these year Jhulan yatra begins on 27th July and ends on 2nd August.
প্রতি বছরের মত এবারেও শ্রীখণ্ড ঠাকুরবাড়ি তে ঝুলন যাত্রা পালিত হয়।শ্রীখণ্ড মাঝের বাড়ি শ্রী শ্রী রাধা মদনমোহন মন্দিরে এই উৎসব পালন করা হয়। এই উপলক্ষে ঠাকুরবাড়ি খুব সুন্দর ভাবে সাজানো হয়। নীচে কিছু ছবি দেওয়া হল। আশা করি আপনাদের ভাল লাগবে।
