jhulan yatra is the celebration of Jhulan Yatra, the Radha-Krishna swing festival.over this period in the auspicious sacred month of Shravana (July-Aug) this festival was used to organized.According to our bengali culture these day also called jhulan purnima.Like every year these also year the khandabasi celebrate jhulan purnima at srikhanda thakurbari.There are three temple in thakurbari and I post three picture from three temples.there are lord radha-krishna and lord gauranga mahaprabhu

Srikhanda Rath yatra

Rath yatra is a huge Hindu festival associated with Lord Jagannath.Which was held in Srikhanda.This is the fourth year.This was organized Srikhanda Ramkrishna Sri Shikha Samity.This year the festival start by Shre. Sunil Thakur-a very famous old man of Srikhanda by broken a coconut in front of Srikhanda Radha madan mohan temple or Srikhanda Uttarbari.It was start in front of Uttarbari and finished at Ramkrishna Sri shikha Samity or in front of Shital Banerjee Chamber who is the President of this Samity.In this rath yatra at first there were a Band party after followed by the villagers and the children followed by the rath.

Srikhanda thakurbari on holi and bhoothnath god

Hello friends. after a long absence of 3 months I back on this blog.this is the month of march-april. The festival of color just gone. In srikhanda thakurbari like every there were a little fair organized. the baisnabs of srikhanda village also pray to god Krishna. We enjoyed a lot. The little fair was held at evening on that day. On this fair we going to see lord Krishna and also ate some little food.at first we goin to shri shri radha madan mohan temple. Then shri shri radha madan gopal temple and after we were going to see the shri shri radha gobinda temple. on the middle temple I will show two picture of lord mahaprabhu and the place where khandabasi pray religious song.
